It has been a hot second since I’ve painted anything so be kind! Our town has an annual art festival in the downtown area and this year they decided to do a community art project. The idea was to cut up found wood products (mostly pallet wood from what I hear), and people could pick up a small, wood “tile”, decorate it, and then return it to the festival so that it could be added to a board with the others, thereby creating something of a mosaic. My hubby works with the schools and many of the area schools had their art students do a tile or two and the schools would get their own boards of student work. So, in his arrangements to get teachers their tiles for the students, he ended up with a couple extras so I decided to insert my own funny style into the community boards. Here we have probably one of my favorite things at the moment; Sassy Nosferatu. He started life as a funny sketch and I just like his energy. Hopefully others will appreciate him for all his sassy attitude as well!
