“Plains of the Heart”

This piece was very quick and sporadic. It is a very emotionally charged painting that I did while in the midst of deep uncertainty and crippling depression. After viewing the background, I thought that it looked a bit like a heart which inspired me to add in the blue trees as accents. I would describe this piece as an abstract landscape.
