Shrub eyes

This is one of my most favorite crafts to date!  It is SO goofy but I love the effect.  This is just a piece of scrap plywood that I cut into the shape of eyes and then painted with mostly spray paint (some of the details are done with acrylic).  Be sure to put some kind of a weatherproof seal over everything when you’re finished painting.  I ended up just using some clear coat spray paint.  It is somewhat effective but the rain wasn’t super forgiving.  After you’re all painted and sealed, I ended up drilling a hole in the bottom and then inserting a metal rod into it to use as a stake.  Get something thin but sturdy then push it into the plant a bit and stake right into the ground.  Simple, effective, hilarious!
