“Emerald Evening”

This was a different media for me. I loved that it was very simple like a crayon but that there was still some give allowing me to blend and smear the color a bit. Not a whole lot of rhyme or reason to this piece. Influenced by nature, mythology (dryads in particular), and of course, the color green. To my great surprise, this piece actually sold at an art show. Would definitely love to try using the oil pastels again.
