This week’s Monster is the yeti. The yeti is a creature said to inhabit the Himalayas in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. The literal translation of his name in Nepalese is “mountain man”. This creature shares many of the same attributes of the North American Sasquatch: taller than the average man, large feet, and covered in hair. Most sightings of the yeti describe it as having dark brown to black colored hair/fur but I liked this color motif that has become common in artist renderings. Yes, he looks a bit like the Bumble from the clay-mation Rudolph movie, but I don’t care. I do what I want.
