I’ve really been enjoying this resurgence of mandalas. Found an awesome Illustrator tutorial so I decided to take a whack at it and put my own spin on it. I’m a freakin’ nerd and I still love Pokemon. When I was growing up, no one had love for poor Bulbasaur. I mean how do you compete with a fire-breathing dragon or a turtle with water cannons shooting out of its back? I’ve just always liked Bulbasaur and its evolutions so I wanted to pay homage.
