The boys and I started a DnD campaign, and my character bought a flycatcher bird to help him find bugs. Our GM described him as tiny and round. We had just come from a bakery and I decided he sounded like a donut hole. Also, the scientific name of this species is Empidonax virescens, and we latched on to the ‘donax’ portion. So, anyway, here’s Donut the flycatcher. He speaks with a Minnesota accent and I love him.
