I’m a big cryptid nerd. I love legends and myths about strange creatures. Oftentimes, this creature gets lumped in with cryptids because it is supposedly extinct. The thylacine or Tasmanian tiger was vaguely dog-shaped but had a massive mouth. People still report seeing them in the wild and there has been hope to try cloning them even. I think they are fascinating and thought I’d do a cute and fun version. Keith Haring definitely inspired me, but it wasn’t my main focus. I just wanted something simplified. I’m happy with how it came out!
