This was a fun project!\u00a0 I had some large coffee cans that I was saving for some project and I decided that they could become pumpkins pretty easily.\u00a0 The most difficult part of this craft was cutting the faces out.\u00a0 I ended up using my Dremel with a cutting disc to do all the cuts.\u00a0 There were plenty of sparks and it is quite loud but all-in-all, things turned out fine.\u00a0 I ended up hitting these with black spray paint all over and then dry brushing a coat of rusty orange colored acrylic.\u00a0 I really love the color!\u00a0 If you wanted to stop here and just use these as luminaries or standalone decorations, that’s cool.\u00a0 I decided to chain them together and make a hanging decoration.\u00a0 So next I added some D-rings to the tops of these and just used decor chain to link everything together.\u00a0 The end project turned out very cool and it’s a big piece that takes up some dead space in the room.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
