Decorations are expensive and often times I have an idea of what I want but it doesn&#8217;t exist&#8230;so I make it myself!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">I&#8217;ve been wanting just a large, statement piece for my front yard.  So it had to be a jack-o-lantern.  This measures about 24&#8243;x24&#8243; and definitely makes an impression!  It is just some extra plywood I had from a previous project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Cut out my shape with a jigsaw, primed, spray painted a base color, and then added details with acrylic paint.  A coat of polyurethane to seal it up and I was done!  Still trying to think of how I want to get it to stand though.  Was thinking of just screwing some stakes into the back so it could be pushed right into the ground&#8230;we shall see!
