(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a request from one of Joel&#8217;s co-workers to make this turkey lollipop holder.\u00a0 All the components seemed easy enough so I decided to take a stab at it.\u00a0 I started with a 1&#215;10 pine board and cut out all my shapes with a jigsaw.\u00a0 Everything got a good sanding to round out the edges and then a coat of stain to all the parts that were going to be brown.\u00a0 After stain was dried I painted all the colored portions with some acrylic paint and a white paint pen.\u00a0 A coat of polyurethane to seal things up after it was assembled.\u00a0 It has some flaws and some imperfections but I think that adds to the handmade charm.\u00a0 I think I&#8217;ll make another for myself next year and maybe try to be a tad more precise with my painting and spacing of the holes for the lollipops.\u00a0 Overall though, I&#8217;m pretty pleased I was able to make something that looked as good as this turned out.\u00a0
